Applied Systems, Inc., the worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for an Associate Consultant, Accounting to join our Solution Services team. As the Associate Consultant, Accounting, you will work directly with clients to implement and configure accounting in Applied Epic. In this role, you will work independently with clients to deliver a positive customer experience. You will have the opportunity to cultivate, maintain, and grow relationships with new and existing customers to promote and drive user adoption of our products. In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to internal projects and collaborate with team members to achieve department goals that align with Applied’s Values in Action. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong knowledge of accounting principles.

What You’ll do:

• Be accountable for the overall success of the transition of accounting data into Applied Epic.
• Assist clients with making accounting related configuration decisions as well as managing associated workflows related to the financial transition.
• Work with customers to gather requirements, assess needs, and provide guidance on best practices and workflows to meet business needs.
• Provide timely communication with customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality implementations.
• Partner with project leadership and other team members to ensure completion of all deliverables across the project.
• Form strong and productive working relationships with customers, managing to keep customers on track toward achieving mutual goals.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of accounting and accounting related workflows in Epic.
• Maintain thorough documentation of customer interactions, tasks completed, project status, and action items.
• Manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality and client satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain excellent knowledge of company products, usage, features, etc. 

What You’ll Need to Succeed

We’re looking for someone who:

• Can work remotely or from an Applied Systems office

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

• 5+ years of experience in an accounting related position; knowledge of the insurance industry ideal
• 2+ years working with Applied Epic
• May also consider candidates with strong competitor product expertise
• Demonstrated communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Highly organized and can handle multiple projects concurrently
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
